I don’t know how it’s possible, but our baby girl is two today! It seems like just yesterday that I was cuddling her during a long Cleveland winter, bingeing on Parenthood on Netflix. She surprised us two years ago by coming three weeks early and now that I know her personality, it doesn’t surprise me one bit that she was ready to join us.
Our little girl is the baby of the family. She’s not just the baby here, but also the youngest cousin on both sides of our families, just like I am. She is lucky enough to have 12 cousins loving on her, 5 aunts, 4 uncles, and two sets of grandparents. And because I’m an “old” mom, she’s also the last baby among all of my friends. She is everyone’s baby and I am in awe of the amount of love for our little girl!
She is so happy and generally easy, but also feisty and fiercely independent. Her favorites phrase is “my do do” because she thinks she can do everything by herself. #andimeaneverything #entereyerollemojihere
She has a fire inside of her that I haven’t seen in her brother (who is generally easy going) and the girl is as tough as they come. There is no forcing her to do something she doesn’t want to do and I have no worries at this point about anyone pushing her around. She adores her big brother and is becoming more and more of a daddy’s girl every day. Nothing warms my heart more than her reaction when he gets home from work. She loves playing with her babies, her kitchen, and going outside.
She is the exclamation mark on our family’s love for each other and we couldn’t love her more!
