It’s Friday!! Woo-hoo!! My little guy started his spring break yesterday and my parents are coming this weekend for a visit. I’ve been cleaning, purging and organizing and I have been a big time slacker on the blog this week. #becauselife
As always, I’m linking up today with Andrea, Erika and Narci to bring you my favorites from the week.
I picked these up at the store a couple of weeks ago and we are obsessed. So good on burgers and sandwiches! If you’re in Ohio, look for them!! I buy them at Heinens here in Cleveland.
I picked up these adorable sets for my little girl last week and I absolutely love them! She can wear them with tights now and without when the weather warms up.
I love her chunky little legs popping out!
I paired it with a sweet bonnet from Sweet As April. Perfection!
We finally started working on our closet redesign. My side is finished and I’m absolutely loving it! I’m slowly swapping out all of my old plastic hangers for new felt ones, picking up a pack or two a month. I think my favorite part of the redesign is my scarf organization!! I picked up one of these shoe organizers and rolled my scarves to organize them. It’s such a great way to see what I have and prevents the scarves from wrinkling. Eventually, I’ll share the rest of the closet as well but it will be awhile before we get my husband’s side finished. #hewontletmepurgehisstuff
I made a new recipe this week and it was super yummy: Italian Skillet Chicken with Tomatoes and Mushrooms. My husband and I really liked it. My little guy ate it because I tossed it with some pasta and left the mushrooms off of his. My baby girl was not impressed. Like at all. It’s looking like she’s going to be a pickier eater than her big brother!
And finally, I need to brag about this night cream, because it’s awesome. My skin has been super dry lately, like it is every winter. It’s been flaky and it was actually burning when I was applying my usual night cream. I decided to swap it out for CeraVe because I know dermatologists highly recommend all of their products for dry skin. I typically try to go with products that are a little more natural, but this one has made a huge difference for me. No more flakes! I plan to keep using it until the jar is empty and then I’ll go back to my usual stuff for the summer.
That’s it for today. I’m going to take the next week off of blogging to enjoy spending spring break with my family but I’ll be back next Friday.
Have a great week and a wonderful weekend!!
