Happy Friday, friends! After enjoying some nice weather earlier in the week, it has turned into rain and now a winter storm warning. #itwasnicewhileitlasted #clevelandissuchatease
We’re hunkering down and actually have zero plans this weekend!!
As always, I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci today to share my favorites from the week.
We had some beautiful spring weather earlier in the week and soaked it up as much as we could! It’s amazing how the weather can impact your mood, isn’t it? Earlier in the week, I felt like I could conquer anything and now I hate everybody and everything. Well, not really but you get the idea!
It’s also funny how warm 40 or 50 degrees can feel after a long, cold winter!
And my new fleece is also a favorite right now. I’ve been eyeing them for awhile but couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger and then I snatched this one up on sale on Back Country for Valentine’s Day (and then thanked my husband for the great gift!). I was originally eyeing the “Better Sweater” but I actually like the fit and coziness of the fleece more. And it’s the perfect layer for this time of year!
I’m hoping to get out by myself to work on Easter baskets this weekend and was loving everything I saw in the dollar spot at Target! I’m a sucker for garden tchotchkes! –yes, I had to look up the spelling of that word 🙂 So much cute stuff!
I’ve also been getting in the spirit of spring with some of the sales going on right now. If you have little ones, check out Old Navy for spring/summer stuff. They have so many cute things right now at really great prices!
I’ve also been on the lookout for an Easter dress for my baby girl and I’m drooling over the dresses and pinafores by Top Stitch Clothing Co. Her spring drop is coming up next week and I can’t wait! They’re such classic pieces that my little one will be able to wear now and then I can hold on to them and pass them down to future generations. Plus, I love supporting a mom’s small business! You can catch a sneak peek of what she has coming on Instagram and I’ll be sure to report back once I buy a dress and check it out in person!
And last but not least, my very favorite part of the week was this little guy “graduating” to the next level in ice skating. You can read my post here about the rocky start he had when he decided he wanted to learn how to skate and I just can’t believe how far he has come! I’m so proud of him for sticking with it and trying something outside of his comfort zone!
That’s all I’ve got for today. Be sure to check out my post from Wednesday to see what else we’ve been up to this month!
